Safurabai Memon Girls Boarding House
Safurabai Memon Girls Boarding House was established in October 1971 in a bungalow at 161-F, Block-3, PECHS, Karachi, which was donated by a philanthropist Mr. Umer Tee. The property was purchased in the name of Bantva Educational Society.
The institution has played a pivotal role in shaping the lives of many young girls. Through its comprehensive support system, the boarding house ensures that each girl receives not only academic education but also vocational training, preparing them for a successful and independent life ahead. The nurturing environment creates a sense of community, making boarders feel at home.
Furthermore, the Safurabai Memon Girls Boarding House takes pride in its commitment to the well-being of the girls, extending its support beyond education. When the girls complete their education and are ready to start their own families, the boarding house steps in to assist with their wedding arrangements, bearing all associated expenses. This thoughtful gesture highlights the institution’s dedication to the holistic development and welfare of the girls.
Over the past 54 years, hundreds of girls have benefitted from the boarding house’s services and have gone on to lead dignified lives with their families. The success stories of these boarders stand as a testament to the enduring impact of the Safurabai Memon Girls Boarding House and the Bantva Educational Society’s unwavering commitment to empowering the Memon community.
Boarding girls are getting education from Rukaiya Hajiani High School. Along with formal education they got trained in sewing dresses and cooking skills. They occasionally visit farmhouses, beaches and other entertainment places every year
